Morphae / Legal
Terms of use
Last revised: 06 Nov 2026
1. The service
Morphae (morphae.org) is an independent community platform for appearance-development discussion, educational guides, progress journals and product reviews. These terms form an agreement between you and Morphae. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm you meet this requirement. We may suspend accounts where we have reason to believe the requirement is not met.
Age eligibility for your jurisdiction should be re-verified before relying on this clause: see the launch checklist in the project README.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting you grant Morphae a non-exclusive licence to host, display and distribute that content within the service.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not post content you do not have the right to share, content that identifies other people without consent, or content that violates the community rules.
4. Acceptable use
The community rules at /rules are incorporated into these terms. Morphae permits unpopular, controversial and strongly critical speech: including consensual appearance analysis and disputed scientific claims: while prohibiting genuine harmful conduct such as threats, exploitation, stalking, doxxing, non-consensual imagery and clearly illegal content.
Enforcement is proportionate and weighs severity, intent, repetition and context. Actions range from content warnings to account termination. Every enforcement action is logged with its rule and rationale, is visible to you in Settings, and can be appealed for review by a different moderator.
You must not scrape the service at abusive rates, probe or attack infrastructure, evade moderation, or misrepresent your identity in a deceptive manner.
5. Not professional advice
Content on Morphae is community and editorial material. It is not medical, dermatological or psychological advice, and no professional relationship is created by using the service.
Always consult a qualified professional before acting on health-related information found here.
6. Premium membership
Premium membership is billed in AUD via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period.
Where Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law grants you rights (including refund rights), those rights apply and are not excluded by these terms.
7. Advertising and affiliates
The service may display third-party advertising and clearly-labelled affiliate links. Sponsored placements are always disclosed. Affiliate relationships never influence community ratings or moderation.
8. Liability
The service is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Morphae excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, member content, or third-party sites we link to.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on the site. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are a starting framework, not legal advice: review with a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction before public launch.
