MORPHAE.ORG · APPEARANCE, DEVELOPED
Morphae / Governance
Morphae is an independent appearance-development community built on freedom of expression. Members may discuss virtually every aspect of physical appearance: controversial, experimental or unpopular views included. What we prohibit is conduct that genuinely harms people: threats, exploitation, stalking, doxxing and clearly illegal content. Disagreement is not harassment.
Unpopular, controversial and strongly critical opinions are permitted. Disagreement is not harassment.

M.1
Allow
Content complies: including controversial, unpopular or sharply critical speech, consensual appearance ratings, facial analysis and disputed scientific claims.
M.2
Review
Context is unclear. Content stays visible while a human moderator assesses it. Automated classification can flag; only people decide.
M.3
Block
Exploitation, credible threats, doxxing, non-consensual imagery, dangerous procedural instructions or clearly illegal content. Held pending human confirmation: never auto-punished.
Enforcement is proportionate: it weighs severity, intent, repetition and context. A controversial opinion never draws action for being controversial. Severe violations may justify immediate suspension or termination.
E.1
Content warning
Attach a moderator notice to the content.
E.2
Content removal
Remove the violating content.
E.3
Posting restriction
Temporarily block new content creation.
E.4
Suspension
Temporarily suspend the account.
E.5
Termination
Permanently terminate the account. Severe violations only.
Transparency & appeals
Every enforcement action is logged with its rule reference and rationale. You can view your own moderation record in Settings → Moderation record, including the reason and rule cited for each action.
If you believe a decision was wrong, appeal it from the same screen. A different moderator reviews every appeal, and you receive a written explanation of the outcome either way.
Members must be 16 or older. Automated content classification (Mistral) assists triage only: it cannot impose enforcement, and never decides a permanent action on its own.
